If intending to travel on an approved airline into Manchester with a registered assistance dog or emotional support animal (dog or cat) you must first get approval from the airline when making your passenger reservation.

The next step would be to contact us by fax or email (see link to the left). We will require copies of your pet's paperwork so that we can check that the UK entry requirements are met. When we are satisfied all is in order we will need the PETS compliance fee paid in advance by Visa or Mastercard. Please note that this fee is for the PETS checks only. Your airline may levy additional fees as per their own tariff.

Current Assistance Animal Fees (effective 1st Feb 2008)
Arrivals into Manchester Monday to Friday
Registered Assistance Dogs GBP 88.00
Emotional Support Dogs and Cats GBP 176.00
Arrivals into Manchester on a Sunday
As above but with a GBP 100.00 surcharge

Once satisfactory paperwork and payment has been received by Pets on Jets we will issue an 'Approval To Board' letter which must be shown to the check-in agent at departure. Please note that possesion of this letter does not guarantee that your PET will pass its checks on arrival in Manchester. We will meet your flight and conduct the official PETS check either on board the aircraft, on the airbridge or at the bus arrival point depending on circumstances.
